Heavy industrial

Bohle runs on heavy gear. We wire it.

The Bohle industrial estate is transport depots, engineering workshops and heavy machinery. Sitting between the airport, the highway and the port, it works as a distribution hub out to western Queensland, so a lot of what rolls through is mining, agriculture and defence gear rather than family cars. This is 24-volt territory.

Getting to you

Yard and depot visits arranged for fleet and plant work

Why Bohle is different

The work round here.

24V truck and plant systems

Isolators, hydraulic interlocks, beacon and work lighting, charging faults on 24V systems. Different rules to a 12V car, and a lot of general mechanics would rather not touch it.

On-board weighing and compliance

LMI scale systems for trucks, loaders and cranes — supply, install, calibration and service. Overloaded gear costs more in lost contracts and insurance grief than it ever does in fines.

We come to the machine

Plant does not drive itself to a workshop. Most Bohle work is done in the yard, arranged around your schedule — including diagnostics on gear that cannot be moved.

What we get called for

Common jobs in Bohle.

  • 24V charging and starting faults on trucks and plant
  • Battery isolators and emergency stop circuits
  • LMI on-board scale supply, install and calibration
  • Beacon, work light and reverse alarm installs
  • Hydraulic interlock and safety circuit wiring
  • Loom repair on machinery that has been running hard
Worth knowing

On-site or in the workshop?

For fleets and plant, a visit usually makes sense — several vehicles in one go, or one machine that cannot leave the yard. For a single small job it is generally quicker to bring it in. Either way it is worth batching non-urgent work into one booking rather than calling us out repeatedly, and we will tell you which suits when you ring.

On the ground

Bohle in our words.

Bohle work tends to be the jobs that need someone who understands machinery, not just vehicles — scale system wiring, isolators and charging system faults on plant that has been running hard in the wet season. It is a good chunk of what we do and the reason we keep heavy-vehicle capability in-house.

FAQ

Bohle questions.

Do you work on 24V systems?+
Yes, and it is a good share of what we do out of Bohle. Trucks, loaders and plant run different rules to a 12V car — charging, isolation and interlocks all behave differently, and a lot of general mechanics would rather not touch it.
Can you come to our depot?+
Usually, yes — most Bohle work is done in the yard because the machinery cannot get to us. Give us the full list when you book and we will work through it in one visit rather than several.
Do you calibrate on-board scales?+
Yes — supply, install, calibration and service of LMI systems for trucks, loaders and cranes. Worth doing before a load dispute rather than after one.
